The Webfoot's Used Car Lot won Best Amateur Site in the Personal Finance Division of GNN's 1995 Best of the Net Awards, but got to be too much work to keep up while I was impaired by repetitive strain injury.
I also used to have some country guides. They didn't win any awards, and took just as much work as the car lots, so I removed them as well.
Maps are a hobby of mine. I did a mashup of U.S. Census Bureau data with Google Maps and developed Mapeteria (a service to make it easier for people to make heatmaps).
The rest of these essays were things I put together for fun, before I started a blog.
